Krystal McLane

Piano, mandolin, and bass guitar.

Who is she?

Krystal joined NBQ in spring of 1997. She mainly serves as our pianist, but also provides some mandolin to add a bit of bluegrass flavor, and she occasionally plays the bass guitar.

Krystal and family reside in Daisy, Missouri and they attend Sedgewickville Baptist Church in Sedgewickville, Missouri.

Krystal has a degree in criminal justice and is currently working with troubled youth in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Her husband Chris usually travels with NBQ and helps with our product table and as our "roadie". They are the proud parents of Justin (age 11) and two  "Little Krystals" - Hannah (age 4) and Sarah (age1).

Robert McCain

Bass guitar, flat top guitar, banjo, and vocals.

Who is he?

Robert joined NBQ in spring of 1997. He has mainly served as our bass guitar player, but also provides some fine flat top guitar (and even banjo once in a while) to spice things up. He provides the lead vocal on "Where Could I Go?", "Poor Wayfaring Stranger" and "I Wanna Go to Heaven".

Robert and his wife, Margaret, reside in McClure, Illinois and attend the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.  They have two daughters, Krystal (our pianist) and Debbie.

Robert is currently doing an internship to complete his masters degree in rehabilitation and doing some substitute teaching.

Eric Scott

Tenor

Who is he?

Eric joined NBQ in spring of 1997. He has mainly served as our tenor singer, but has also added harmonica player to his list of duties. Eric's strong voice and excellent ear for harmony has been a strong asset for the group. He is featured on many of our songs including "Because He First Loved Me" and "New Life". You can also hear his trombone playing on several of our recordings including "Can He, Could He, Would He, Did He?".

Eric and his wife, Lori, reside in Cape Girardeau, Missouri where they attend Westminster Presbyterian Church. They are the proud parents of daughters Erica and Tori.

Eric is currently seeking full time employment.

Jim Hindman

Lead

Who is he?

Jim is one of the two remaining original members of NBQ. He and Wade, along with Jim's wife Robyn and Tim Canon (all of Chaffee, Missouri) formed the original group back in 1995. Jim first sang with Wade in high school choir over 25 years ago.  He now provides lead vocals on most of the quartet's songs and is featured on several, including "Only Jesus" and "I Wanta Go There". He also has written several songs that NBQ now performs and has more in the works.

Jim and his wife Robyn reside in Chaffee, Missouri and attend Trinity Gospel Church in Sikeston, Missouri. Jim is active as one of the worship leaders in his church. He and Robyn have a twelve year old daughter, Cassie.

Jim is a music teacher and band director in Catholic schools in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He also works with computers at school. (And set up this web site.)

Tom Kimbel

Baritone

Who is he?

Tom joined NBQ in the fall of 1998. Tom has a solid baritone voice and blends in perfectly with the guys. His love of Southern Gospel is evident every time he steps up to the microphone. He is featured on several songs including "I'm Feeling Fine" and "Can He, Could He, Would He, Did He?".

Tom and his wife Jodie live in Jackson, Missouri and attend the First General Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau, Missouri where they are both active members. 

Tom is a retired police officer from Jackson, and is now a trainer and saftey coordinator for Laidlaw Education Service in Cape Girardeau.

Wade Sanders

Bass

Who is he?

Wade has been a member of NBQ since its very beginning around 1995. He and Jim first sang together in high school choir some 20+ years ago. His smooth bass voice provides a solid foundation for our four part harmonies and he is featured on several solos such as "Rainbow Avenue", "Trying to Get a Glimpse", and "Just a Little Talk with Jesus".

Wade and his wife Laura reside in Chaffee, Missouri where they attend
Calvary Baptist Church. He and Laura have two sons, Wade and Matt, both teenagers. (Please pray!)

Wade is now teaching Jr. High Social Studies in the Oran, MO school district and helps coach basketball and basketball.
